saddle and started over both cross country and show jump fences. They hack out
quietly alone or in company. Super ground manners and no vices.

Gracie traveled great, and was greeted by about 5-6 other girls at the barn,
who couldn't wait to meet her. Katellyn called everyone on the way home,
including a friend who stood on her front porch to wave us by when we
passed her house on the way to the barn. Joellyn (her mother) said she did
not stop smiling and shaking the whole 2 hour ride home. She kept saying, "I
knew it would be Gracie" , she said she knew from the moment she saw her
ad on the internet.

Gracie got off the trailer looked around, then acted like she was home.
Katellyn brushed her, and walked her around the property, fed her and
showed her off to everyone. She told about our trip over and over including the
story of her new lucky charm green breeches from Caroline Dowd. She is so
excited and truly on cloud nine.

Thanks so much for yours and Sarah's help yesterday. I can not tell you what
a great experience it was for everyone. I wish all of my other horse shopping
trips were as fantastic as this one. I think it is a great match, and we are so
excited to get them going. If I get any other young riders needing horses, you
will be first on my list to call.

I wanted to thank you so much for the incredibly pleasant experience in
purchasing Alexa from you. As I shared with you… it is very difficult being an
adult amateur even a fairly knowledgeable one,  as you embark on the task
of buying a horse. It is very difficult to know who you can trust, and to make
sure you are getting the best possible horse given your experience,
personality and desired goals.

I did my “due diligence” before driving there and heard nothing but the best
references from professionals in my area who know of you and your long list
of accomplishments as a rider and a coach – the feedback was very positive
and consistent  -  your ability to match “people” with horses, your honesty
and candor in representing your animals. I am very pleased to say that the
reputation is certainly warranted. I sincerely appreciate your flexibility in
helping me as a very busy executive take her to get her vetted at my clinic of
choice, haul her to another farm where I could try her “off farm” and the
lessons you gave me on her to determine if we were going to be a successful
match.  I have felt so comfortable with you in the process and appreciated
your ability to teach in a non intimidating and very clear manner, that one of
the best benefits from the whole experience is that I found you as an
eventing coach! You are worth the long haul from Charlotte, even with the
gas prices ( ouch)!  I look forward to this week starting together as a team –
Alexa, you and I, and I know if anything can get me back out there after my
accident and loss of “nerve”, it is this new team!

Thank you again for the “painless” process, and I so look forward to Tuesday
and our first official ride as the new and very happy owner of Alexa !!
